Lucy Morrison-Childs

Lucy Morrison-Childs is a Family Mediator with a specialist background in psychology, child development, and emotional wellbeing. Holding a master’s degree in Child Mental Health and undergraduate training in Psychology and Counselling, Lucy brings warmth, depth, and insight to her mediation practice.

Her approach is grounded in empathy and emotional intelligence, with a strong focus on child-centred communication and safeguarding. With extensive experience working directly with children and families, Lucy understands the profound impact conflict can have on mental health and development — particularly during periods of transition and change.

Lucy is also trauma-informed and neurodiversity-informed, and ensures her practice is inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of all clients. She is particularly skilled at supporting individuals experiencing heightened stress or emotional overwhelm, offering a calm and structured environment where people feel safe, heard, and supported.

Her commitment to listening, representation, and advocacy has shaped her academic and professional journey — and continues to underpin her work in helping families build stronger, more sustainable futures through mediation.
